Each Monday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., Qi Gong and Reiki Master Ridgely du Pont offers practice at our Gaithersburg center.
Qi Gong, pronounced "Chee Gung," is a Chinese moving meditation originally developed over six thousand years ago by Daoist monks who meditated for twenty hours a day. The Qi Gong exercises helped them to move their "stuck" chi or life force, akin to ki in the word Reiki.
Ridgely teaches Qi Gong in a relaxing and fun style, interesting for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. You can attend a single session for $17 or a series of four workshops for $40.

Where there is Love, All is possible and without Love we feel our separation from Source. Our Heart is at the core of our being and where the soul connects to our emotional and physical bodies. All Love-SKHM Gatherings create a space for healing and opening of the heart which allows us to experience all of who we are and what we are capable of becoming. For some, it may be a glimpse of what is possible, for others it may be a life-changing experience. All Love-SKHM Gatherings are based on experience rather than theory. Once you have the experience of the spontaneious heart initiations of All Love-SKHM, there will be a knowingness that comes through this direct connection from Source. This is not something that another person can gie you; it is your own opening to All Love that allows you to have this direct and unique experience.
All Love-SKHM reestablishes your connection with the Source, allows you to become more aware of your life purpose, and assists you in removing the blocks that create the illusion of separation from Source. Immerse yourself in these energies and deepen your unique connection to this flow that can manifest in many ways including personal and spiritual growth, increased healing and intuitive skills, opening to your creative and artistic talents, and increased relaxation and meditation abilities.
The gatherings are wonderful ways to deepen your experience of the healing energies of All Love-SKHM and Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki (both part of the same energy stream) using a variety of techniques that you will both experience and learn including:

*Working with heaven/earth, female/male, and past/future axes of the energy field
You may attend one or more gatherings, and a program is also available for those who wish to work even more closely with the energy to become certified as practitioners and teachers of this powerful healing system.

ABOUT DIANE
Diane is a gifted and internationally known spiritual counselor, psychotherapist, teacher, healer, author and radio and TV guest. She is a certified teacher of SKHM, having been trained by Patrick Zeigler, the originator of SKHM and an ancient healing method from Egypt first known as Seichim. She is a master teacher of several energy healing systems, including Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki, Traditional Reiki, Karuna Reiki®, Lightarian™ Healing, Integrated Energy Therapy® and Blue Star Celestial. She is a certified practitioner of Heart and Soul Healing™ and an Angel Therapy Practitioner. Diane is the author of "All Love: A Guidebook for Healing with Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki and SKHM" and has contributed articles to several publications including the "Reiki News Magazine". In this class, the student will be introduced to several Japanese Reiki Techniques and will receive the Japanese Attunements or Reiju for each level. The class will run from 7-9pm on Friday and from 9am-5pm on Saturday. Prerequisite for this class is Usui Reiki III or completion in Usui Reiki II and intention to complete Master training in the Western tradition within the next three months. Cost is $250, if prepaid by 9/24 or $280 thereafter.

In this class, the student will learn how to give Japanese Reiki attunements or Reiju for all levels in the Usui and Hayashi styles. Also covered will be the paired healing style of Chujiro Hayashi and several meditations. Students will also receive the Master attunement for the Usui Reiki Ryoho. The class will run from 9am-5pm on Sunday. Prerequisite for this class is Usui Reiki Ryoho Shoden/Okuden and Usui Reiki Master or Usui Reiki II and intention to complete Usui Reik Master within the next three months. Cost is $250, if prepaid by 4/25/08 or $275 thereafter.

In this class, the student will continue on the skills built in the Usui Reiki Ryoho system, extending his or her skills to the modern techniques that are currently being practiced in Japan by the group led by Hiroshi Doi. Prerequisite for this class is Usui Reiki Ryoho Shoden/Okuden and Shinpiden and Usui Reiki Master training. Cost is $450, if prepaid by 07/23/2008 or $475 thereafter.

With Amy Rowland, Reiki Master in Traditional Western Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho), Usui Reiki Ryoho (Japanese Style), and Gendai Reiki
This session is a three-day, 12-hour class designed to support practitioners of all levels and lineages in learning how to work with Reiki and intuition together in harmony. It is a wonderful opportunity to practice the process of receiving intuitive impressions as you do hands-on Reiki and distant healing, to become confident of your skill as an intuitive, and to bring your skill as an intuitive into all other aspects of your life. During this class, you will:
- Receive additional attunements
Learn basic and advanced intuitive skills
- Learn how to use your intuition to benefit your Reiki clients
- Learn how to use Reiki with intuition to clarify your own guidance
- Learn traditional Western and Japanese Reiki techniques that rely on intuition, as well as new techniques.
- Practice with supervision and increase your comfort level and confidence
- Receive a manual and a copy of the instructor's new book, Intuitive Reiki For Our Times
ABOUT AMY
Amy Rowland describes Reiki as the best blessing of her life. She was privileged to study Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho) with Reverend Beth Gray, a dear friend and master student of Hawayo Takata. She learned the basic hands-on method and the advanced distant-healing method in the spring and autumn of 1987. Amy also received her M.A. degree in English from Temple University and learned Reiki from Beth Gray in the same year.
Because she loved the light, joyful, way the energy made her feel, and because she was always full of questions, she returned at every opportunity to assist at Beth Gray's classes. Since Amy "dropped in" on Bucks County at roughly six month intervals, she had the chance to assimilate what I learned from her as she taught and to use that sense of clarity to deepen my practice. This informal spiritual study went on for years.
When Beth retired from teaching Reiki in 1991, Amy felt forced to learn from experience that the Energy is not only the true healer, but also the true teacher. Using Reiki itself, Amy began to direct my questions to Mikao Usui and other early Reiki Masters. With a strong sense of their support, Amy studied under Reiki Master Frank DuGan and became certified as a Reiki Master in 1994. Since then, it has been Amy’s joy to teach Reiki to many people and to see them awaken to the flow of healing energy in their hands and to the comfort of a conscious connection to Spirit.
Soon Amy realized that she was being guided to write a book about Reiki that would serve as an introduction to this healing method for the curious and as a reference book for Reiki practitioners. In 1996 and 1997, with the encouragement and support of her family and many Reiki friends, she wrote Traditional Reiki For Our Times. In 1998, Inner Traditions published the book, which created some wonderful opportunities for me to speak about Reiki, both to the general public and to healthcare professionals. In 2006, Inner Traditions is publishing her successor book that covers the topics of Reiki and Intuition. It is called Intuitive Reiki for our Times and will be supplied to students in this workshop.
In April 2001, Amy studied with Tom Rigler, a master student of Mr. Hiroshi Doi, and received training to teach Usui Reiki Ryoho and Gendai Reiki techniques. In September 2002, she took advantage of the opportunity to study with Mr. Doi himself at the Usui Reiki Ryoho International Conference in Toronto, Ontario. While she continues to teach in the Western tradition in which she was originally taught, she enjoys teaching the traditional Japanese techniques as well.
In the last two years, Amy has written articles about Beth Gray, Reiki and intuition have appeared in the Reiki News Magazine's recent issues; an article on Reikishares is the cover story of the Spring 2005 issue; another on Reiki as complementary healing is scheduled to appear soon. Amy is a member of the Association of Bodyworkers & Massage Professionals; a friend of the local chapter of the American Holistic Nurses Association; and an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church. IET is one of the next generation energy therapy systems that gets the "issues out of your tissues" for good, in the tradition of Caroline Myss's book, "Energy Anatomy". IET classes are powerful days of self-healing and energy therapy certification training. In each class, you will be attuned to an angelic energy ray that activates your 12-strand Spiritual DNA. You will then learn how to heartlink to the energy of your angels and use their energy for healing. You will also learn how each primary human emotion is correlated to a specific physical region of the body, as well as how to use the IET integration power points to clear them. No prior energy therapy experience iw needed.
